Team,

Sorry for the delay, I have been out sick. When Rick and I installed Go Print on the new server, we installed the latest version. I spoke with Rick this morning and it seems that there is a bug in the version we installed that causes Duplex pricing to be charged incorrectly. He is currently working with their development team to resolve the issue and will email when the patch is ready to be installed. I will keep you posted.

Hi all,

The Flex I surveys opened yesterday and the Canvas integration is not working. The link in Canvas shows that there are no current evaluations, even though there are. Steve opened a ticket with eXplorance. I’ll update you when I know more.

Thanks,

Tracey

Subject: New Student Surveys tool

Hi all,

The new end-of-course survey tool (eXplorance Blue) is now integrated with Canvas. Flex I surveys open October 1st, so we will probably start to get questions about this. Important details:

·         There is a pop-up that students see when they have a live survey. The pop-up has a link to the survey, but can be ignored (“remind me later”), i.e. does not block them from moving on until they complete the survey.

·         The “Student Survey” link is visible in the course navigation by default. We hid it by default when we were using IOTA, and that did not go well.

·         The “Student Survey” link is for students only. Teachers can access Blue and their survey results in ACES (Employee tab > Student Surveys portlet).

Any questions about the Canvas integration, let me know. For questions about Blue in general, please contact Steven Szeszko.

Thanks!

Tracey

Team,

We are aware that some students are getting an error when they try to access the Sexual Assault Prevention training through ACES. Please create a ticket and assign to District and our Applications Dev. team will take care of these.

The backlog has been consumed, and events are flowing normally again as of 30 minutes or so ago. We are still awaiting an official cause, but it does appear to have been on the Canvas side. Thank you for your patience, and let me know if you see any lingering issues.
